Tony and I met Dave Cerven at his wonderful studio in Maplewood just over 2 years ago. The first thing I notice was his height...Dave is 6"8', while I am 5'3", so there is quite a height difference. After I asked him if he played basketball, which he did, I came to find that he was an amazing guy...then I met his wonderful wife, Becky, and Tony and I felt such a connect with them! We all became great friends! I have worked for Dave and so has my husband. We have found both Dave and Becky to be incredible people to be around. When they called me to do their birth story, I was honored! It is such an honor as a photographer and their friend. Enjoy their sweet baby Elliana's birth! It was a great night at MoBap that she was born to proud parents Dave and Becky!
A wonderful night at MoBap for a birth!
Becky was doing puzzles before the "hard" part started...great way to wait for her little girl to arrive!
SHE'S HERE!!! Just seconds after she was born!
Fav of the day!!! I loved her little cry...too precious! Elliana Jane has entered the world...she is healthy and her lungs were certainly working well, too!
Mom and Dad are getting there first looks! THIS is why I love birth stories! Getting those amazing shots right after a baby is born is priceless! I love this shot because you can just imagine what they are thinking about...
The new family of 3.
Dave's parents happily hold their newest grandchild...loved the Grandpa shirt he wore, too!
Dave and Becky, congrats on your new, little bundle of joy! Little girls are amazing...enjoy every moment!

Interior Designer!
You know that amazing ability to look at a room and exactly know how to "dress" it? Well, I don't have it...lol...but, Amy Studebaker does! She is an incredible interior designer and is extremely talented. If you need a room "dressed" up, Amy is the person to make your room gorgeous! Well, I met up with her at a house that she designed from a blank slate...the house was completely empty when she worked her magic. Check out these gorgeous rooms that she designed!! I loved taking pictures of these gorgeous rooms.
If you need interior design work, contact Amy of "Amy Studebaker Interiors" at 314.458.5339. Just tell her Kristen from Synergy sent you!
The first room that I walked into, my heart sank! I am such a sucker for little girl's rooms...must be being a mom of a sweet little girl! LOL! I love everything from the amazing chandelier, to the rug, to the pink crown molding! Love everything!
This living room is a KILLER room...I love the character brought to this room!
The two sitting rooms were connected and Amy did an amazing job of keeping these two room individual yet cohesive. WOW!
The office...
Who wouldn't want this couch and amazing Pottery Barn pillows in their office?!?!?!
Great master bedroom...
Loved these window treatments! WOW! Gotta love tassels...
This was my favorite detail of the master bedroom, this was a favorite spot to photograph.
The kitchen...
The bathroom...I loved the wallpaper and the bordering...a lot of work went into this room!

Family Portraits!
I always have clients asking me the question, "Did you go to school for photography?" And I always laugh and say, no, "I got a degree in Elementary Education and taught for two years." After I had my daughter, I became a stay at home mom. But shortly after she about 5 months old, at a friend's wedding, I suddenly became interested in photography and never turned back. I fell in love with it and the rest is history...
So during my two year teaching career, I met Rachelle and Steve. Rachelle is one of the sweetest and loving person I have ever met. And her husband, Steve, is a wonderful, family man! When Rachelle called me up to have a family session, I was elated! Here are some pictures from a cold, but great photo shoot of their family!
I loved the light that was available inside their house, so we definitely had to get some cool shots there! Marion was an angel and such a sweetheart!
Marion was just soaking everything in as I was taking pictures. She is almost 3 and you could literally see her mind working on what was going on around her. I loved her serious face! She has eyes that just tell all!
Getting a few laughs was such a great moment! FAV. of Marion!
Rachelle and her little girl!!! Two beautiful and sweet ladies to me!
Is her look not completely priceless?!?!
The entire family!!! And if Steve looks familiar, it is probably because he is! He is country music singer...you can check him out at his WEBSITE!
Daddy and his little girl!!!
