Ryan and Tony have been amazing friends since they were 10 years old. When Ryan called to tell us he was engaged to Rachel; both of us were super excited to hear the good news. But we became even more excited once we met his amazing fiance, Rachel.
Tony was honored to shoot their engagement session and truly loved spending time with the newly engaged couple. Rachel and Ryan are absolutely PERFECT for one another. They are a match made in heaven. Their outdoor wedding is in Oregon this September; I am sure it is going to be gorgeous! Congrats Ryan and Rachel! We are both so excited for your upcoming wedding!!!!
What a good looking couple!
One hot kiss...
This is my favorite picture of the session!!!! I love how they are just into each other.
Tony kept saying that Ryan and Rachel were so much fun on this session. They we constantly laughing and were playful about their pictures...I think this picture encapsulates that emotion of the session.
Tony getting some great sunflare...he was thinking of me as he captured this picture because I love sunflares!

Liz & Ben :: Engaged!!!
Tony and I shot our first engagment session together recently...it was sooo much fun! I have known Liz since I was a freshman in highschool, she was bubbly and sweet, and much hasn't changed since then! I was especially excited to meet Ben because I have know Liz for so long. Tony and I both enjoyed meeting him and found him to be incredibly in love with Liz. Ben and Liz laughed a lot during their session, loved to kiss, and were at ease with one another. Here are some of our favorite pictures from their awesome session!
Tony had the idea for this awesome shot! There were flower petals falling and floating in the wind, so we had Ben and Liz stand in the street...it turned out to be one of the most romantic picture of the session!
Liz is just gorgeous!!! She is bubbly and fun!!! She is happily in love with Ben and sooo excited for their wedding day!
Ben and Liz are having their rehersal dinner off of Morgan Street, so this picture was a special touch to the session!
The happy couple!
Liz's ring is three bands intertwinded, represented from the Bible; a cord of three strands is not easily broken.
Love this detail shot of their hands...I just love the sweetness of any couple holding hands...so I really like this picture!
Last but not least, my favorite shot of the day! I love the sun flares mixed with a hot kiss about to happen! LOVE IT!
Liz and Ben, we loved working with you! Tony is super excited about your wedding day in May! I cannot wait to see his pictures! Congrats!

FUN, FUN, FUN
Tony and I have been taking an "Advanced Photography" class at the ever so amazing Studio Altius Studio. This class runs for 6 weeks long and includes homework and a two hour training class every week. Tony and I have used our "date nights" to go to this class and are having a blast, plus learning a ton about studio lighting. Here are some fun pictures from our last class. We stepped out from behind the camera for a little bit and took turns modeling with some fun props...enjoy:
Dave, owner of Studio Altius, getting in on the fun!!
Some fun, pink sunglasses! WINK!
Michelle and I being gangsters!
I love this profile picture...I feel sassy!
And last but not least...jumping! I am the cheerleader and Tony always does funny poses. LOL!

Baby Zeke!!!
I absolutely love birth photography!!! I know that I am on call 24 hours a day but there is nothing that compares to being part of a child coming into the world. WHAT A MIRACLE!!! I love births, but this one was particularly important to me: it was the birth of my nephew!!!!
Annie delivered into the world on Tuesday, April 7th, a beautiful baby boy named Ezekiel (Zeke). He was 10 lbs 6 ozs...and here is the kicker, she did it NATURALLY at home! She is amazing! Here are the highlights of this birth story: enjoy!
Just waiting for the baby to be born...
Checking the heart rate; looking good!
Favorite picture of the session: Annie just leaning on Joe while the contractions are getting strong!
Hard work; but he is here!
So excited to see his little face.
Bright eyed just minutes after he was born.
Aunt Katie brought the Robbie into the room to see his new brother. Robbie was interested in the little, new addition to the family. (And Katie had left the hair salon with product in her hair to make it to the birth.)
Sweet expressions already.

EASTER 2009
Tony, Jadyn, and I had a wonderful Easter. We were excited to go to church and hang out with his family BUT Jadyn was soooo excited to wake up to "Easter" the next day that she woke up at 2am and didn't go to bed till around 6am...UGH! She was so excited to see her Easter basket and was dying to see her cousins! So, needless to say, we slept in and sadly missed church! But we were up in time to relaxed with Tony's family. (My parents were on vacation in sunny Arizona...I missed you Mom and Dad!!!)
Easter wasn't what I expected, BUT we had a very blessed Easter. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day in a collage:
