Megan has been as close as a sister to me for since college. We have a connection that is just amazing!!! She means the world to me and she is getting married! YEAH! YEAH! and YEAH! I am looking forward to being in her wedding this August...cannot wait! Ryan and Megan have a sweet love and it was a pleasure getting to know him during their engagement session. Enjoy their awesome session at the City Museum!!! (As promised, I will be doing daily posts for a while....so check back again tomorrow!!)
Could they be any cuter???
Love this silhouette picture in the vault.
This picture is one of my favorites of the session because of how small they look in this large room and how she is just holding on to him so tightly. LOVE IT!
She will be a gorgeous bride!
Favorite of the day! I feel like their personalities shine through in this picture.
Talk about perfect timing! The wind started up at just the right moment. It blew just perfectly on her hair to get some great movement in this picture...I am definitely digging it!
Megan, you are a sister to me...Ryan, I enjoyed meeting you and look forward to years of getting to know you. CONGRATS!

Jake & Natalie's Wedding Day!
Jake and Natalie are an awesome couple! I absolutely loved shooting this wedding, despite the HOT weather...remember those hot, crazy heat indexed days of over 100%'s. Check out some of their pictures from their beautiful wedding day!
(ALSO, I will have a new post every day for a while....soon to come: Natalie's family session, Katie and Jackson's Engagement, Megan and Ryan's Engagement, and Addie's ONE! KEEP CHECKING BACK!!!!)
Natlalie looked perfect...the make-up artist was amazing. She used air brushing, too, which proved to be flawless despite the heat.
Here is a great shot by my great assistant, Jake. While I was with the girls getting ready, Jake was getting shots of Jake with his guys.
A special touch of the wedding, they did sand instead of a unity candle.
Jake looking like a stud!!!
Natalie looked amazing...loved the lighting here...loved how great she looks.
LOVE IT...favorite of Natalie.
Fav. of the day...love this one!
Wait, no, this is my favorite.
Hanging out on the party bus!!
First dance
A close up of the bride and groom dancing, love this perspective.
Natalie dancing with her uncle. Alright, let's back up. When I talked to Natalie about doing her wedding photography, her father and grandmother were in the hospital...we needed to reschedule our meeting and decided to wait till life settled down. Then, I got word that they were both doing well and at home. Sadly, not long after this, Natalie's father passed away. This was a very, very hard situation. My heart broke for her loss. So, on her wedding day, they had a memory table and made his memory part of the day...part of that was dancing with his brother, her uncle.
PARTY!
Jake and Natalie, I had a great time shooting your wedding...have a happy married life!!!

Ben and Amy :: Married
Ben and Amy are just one of those couples; one that every photographer loves to have! They are such sweet people who are laid back and super fun to work with. I met them at Mizzou to do their engagement session and was instantly in love with this couple!!!!!! I have been looking sooooo forward to their wedding day...and it was just like I imagined; AMAZING!!! Here are some pictures from their fabulous day! ENJOY:
I love taking shoe pictures...lol...and these shoes were super fun because they were tall and silver.
Re-reading her vows before the ceremony...
The guys!
This church was HUGE...like 2 blocks, so there were a ton of really neat areas to take pictures, this was one of them!
One word: gorgeous!
A touching ceremony...
Mr. and Mrs. Schirmer
Fav. of the day. This picture seems so innocent and cute...their eyes just looking down and their sweet smiles. Something about this picture just makes me smile!
Dad's speech was very touching!
Ben and Amy, it was an absolute pleasure working with you both. I pray that God blesses you both! Congrats!

Rich & Jessie's Wedding Day
Rich and Jessie are married! I had such a great time shooting this wedding with my awesome assistant, Rebecca. As soon as the wedding party jumped out of the party bus, I knew it was going to be a great day....because of their shoes! As you can tell, they had a great style and for me, that made this wedding even more fun to shoot! ENJOY the styliciousness of this wedding!!!! '
This was such a fun group of people to work with. And one of the bridesmaids had already been a bridesmaid in another one of my weddings...I love seeing familiar faces! WINK!
Gorgeous flowers!
Rich, the handsome groom brought his style to his wedding day...great shoes, fo-hawk hair, and pin-striped suit!
It was an extremely hot and sunny day...so we took some pictures at The Muny...one of my favorite places to shot on a hot day.
This is one of my favorite pictures because of their interaction...they were super happy and easy going! LOVE THAT!
Love this eyelash shot...she is sooo delicate here, gotta love it!
Favorite detail was their shoes...comfortable and AWESOME!
At the wedding, the mood was happy, yet totally focused on a marriage focused on God. I love how her veil covers her face as they pray.
But at the reception..........kick off your shoes and PARTY!!! IT was a GREAT reception.
During the toast (and the ceremony) there were interpretors for the deaf. Jessie works with the deaf. It was an amazing experience!
And here is Jessie's brother breaking it down!
Jessie and Rich, you were an amazing couple to work with! Have a wonderful and happy marriage!!!
