Olivia's Senior Pictures

Olivia and I did her senior portraits last week at a beautiful park in St. Louis. We had so much fun on this session! Olivia is such a sweetheart! She is a beautiful person and was so fun to work with. You might recognize her from a dance session earlier this year...which is ironically not how I met her. I met her at Breakdown through my brother. (Small world to run into her at SO many sessions this year!)

So although this is her third session with me this year, this was a session that was really all about her! Enjoy:

Her adorable shoes...

Her Viz class ring.

Olivia had such great eyes. I really wanted to play those up by not having her smile in this picture. It added such a dramatic element to this picture.

Have you ever seen a BLACK PUG? Well, Olivia and I never had. So half way through the session we had to stop when we eyed this adorable pug. I was VERY excited about this black pug and asked the owners if I could snap a picture...plus I would put it on my blog. They said yes, and although I cannot remember his name, he was definately a bonus to the session!

Congrats Olivia on your senior year! I hope it is the best yet!

The May Family

You might recognize the May sisters from their photoshoot earlier this year with their dance studio. I just did a photo session with the entire May family...but this time they did not bring their tu-tus. Instead, we did a family session in the park.

The May family had never taken professional family pictures before, so I was honored to be the first photographer to take their pictures. We had a great time! Their sweet girls were such a delight to work with and Renee and Chris were just so easy going. Check out my favorite pictures from this session!!

Could these girls be any cuter??? Seriously! They are both just too precious!
Big hugs!
I love this photo...Renee is tickling the girls...they are obviously enjoying their time! LOL.

Beautiful Baby Blaise!

Amanda was a friend of mine from high school. I was so excited to do this photoshoot for her because it is always soooo nice catching up with WCA friends. Plus, she has a sweet baby boy. Her son, Blaise, and her husband, David, and I went on a nice long session in Tower Grove Park and at their house. I had soooo many adorable images of this family. I can only show a few here, so enjoy them!

*Favorite picture of the session!*

Awe, a sleeping baby...I love this one, especially his lips!
David playing with Blaise on the run...look at Blaise's little hand on David's forehead.

David said that he really would like some pictures of him holding Blaise while he was crying. I am to please...WINK!

National Campaign

I was asked by owner of The Professional Dance Center (GSPDC) to take campaign pictures for two different dances performed at their recital. GSPDC is campaigning with others around the nation for a football and dancer partnership. This partnership will enlighted people as to what dance truly is; a sport. This will be done with the help of commercials and performances. You might have already heard about this national campaign on NPR. This is a great opportunity for all of these girls if they are selected for the campaign. Here are the two pieces that I shot as Director of Photography for their two campaign pictures.

Wesley and Holly's Destination Wedding.

What could be better that being in The Keys for three days? Well, being in The Keys for three days while your best friend for high school gets married. Holly and Wesley got married in August on the beach and are now husband and wife. Tony and I had a blast capturing their wedding day. They were just a perfect couple...they are sooo in love and are very photogenic. Enjoy these photos! (Don't forget, facebook has MANY more photos...still under Kristen M Photography.)
This was the first thing I woke up to on their wedding day. I felt like I was looking at a post card!

Holly's jewelry was beautiful!

You know you are going to like this group of guys when you see all three seasons of The Office...I need not say more! WINK!
By far my favorite guys getting ready shot.

The men praying before the ceremony.

Holly as she walks down to meet her soon-to-be husband.

Holly's dad as Wesley said his own vows to Holly.

I really like this picture especially because of the guys. I just love how they are looking at me and just laughing.
Adam, Holly's brother, cutting up the dance floor.

And then, the girls and guys jumped in the pool in their wedding attire. What a way to end the evening!
