Interior Designer!

You know that amazing ability to look at a room and exactly know how to "dress" it? Well, I don't have it...lol...but, Amy Studebaker does! She is an incredible interior designer and is extremely talented. If you need a room "dressed" up, Amy is the person to make your room gorgeous! Well, I met up with her at a house that she designed from a blank slate...the house was completely empty when she worked her magic. Check out these gorgeous rooms that she designed!! I loved taking pictures of these gorgeous rooms.

If you need interior design work, contact Amy of "Amy Studebaker Interiors" at 314.458.5339. Just tell her Kristen from Synergy sent you!

The first room that I walked into, my heart sank! I am such a sucker for little girl's rooms...must be being a mom of a sweet little girl! LOL! I love everything from the amazing chandelier, to the rug, to the pink crown molding! Love everything!

Family Portraits!

I always have clients asking me the question, "Did you go to school for photography?" And I always laugh and say, no, "I got a degree in Elementary Education and taught for two years." After I had my daughter, I became a stay at home mom. But shortly after she about 5 months old, at a friend's wedding, I suddenly became interested in photography and never turned back. I fell in love with it and the rest is history...

So during my two year teaching career, I met Rachelle and Steve. Rachelle is one of the sweetest and loving person I have ever met. And her husband, Steve, is a wonderful, family man! When Rachelle called me up to have a family session, I was elated! Here are some pictures from a cold, but great photo shoot of their family!

I loved the light that was available inside their house, so we definitely had to get some cool shots there! Marion was an angel and such a sweetheart!
Photobucket

Marion was just soaking everything in as I was taking pictures. She is almost 3 and you could literally see her mind working on what was going on around her. I loved her serious face! She has eyes that just tell all!

Getting a few laughs was such a great moment! FAV. of Marion!

This was my first sister shoot ever and I must say that I LOVED IT!!! This session struck very close to my heart because I have a sister whom I love and am super close with!!! It was so much fun seeing these two sisters interact and have a blast on their photo shoot. Ashlie and Haley are both gorgeous and sweet girls!!! Check out my favorites from this session:

I love this area of Old Town St. Charles and Ashlie and Haley's mom, Mary Kay, loved this area, too. So it was an easy location to pick the location...it was hard to hit all the amazing spots in Old Town...lol. But this was a great little stop in our session!

Haley made me smile just by smiling! She lights up the room...or town! This is my favorite picture of Haley!
