April's Maternity Session

April's maternity session was a lot of fun despite the FREEZING weather. The session basically went like this....shed off your warm coats...take the picture....run and put your coats back on. (Although I am being a little dramatic, I promise, it was still REALLY cold!) This family was a lot of fun to capture pictures for. April has a gorgous smile and she and her husband interacted adorably. Big brother and sister joined us for the session, also, they were so cute and were troopers during the entire session! April, congrats on your pregnancy, I cannot wait till your little one arrival!

SEEN 2008

We are happy to announce that Synergy Photography entered two photographs that have BOTH been selected as finalists in SEEN 2008. Every December, lovers of photography come to Studio Altius to view a collection of the best photography created in that year from St. Louis area photographers. SEEN is the culmination of a contest to find the best of the best in St. Louis. We want to see what our best photographers have SEEN.

Our two photographs were submited and 50 photographs were chosen by a blind jury to be displayed in the SEEN 2008 show at Studio Altius throughout the month of December.

We are very honored to be show-cased! Our two photography pieces:

Ben and Kristina are MARRIED!

Ben and Kristina just got married! I was so excited to do this wedding because Tony and Ben know each other from Breakdown STL and I have heard about him from day one of Tony being in Breakdown. I was sooo excited to meet him and his lovely bride-to-be, Kristina. Their wedding was very fun. They were an amazing couple with a REALLY fun wedding party. Jessie and I had a great time shooting their wedding.





These rocks were signed by the guests and Ben and Kristina commited to pray for each person every day for the first year of their marriage.






Jessie got this amazing shot of Kristina...I couldn't love it anymore! Thanks Jessie for your awesome job assisting!

Shot Party

Kelly Manno has a "shot party" twice a year where a bunch of STL photographers get together, socialize and shoot pictures together. Tony and I joined this awesome group of 23 photographers this year and had a blast...like always. Check out some of our shots from our last Shot Part of 2008! (This years theme was night shooting...it was a great time!!!)

Sarah and Nathan

Sarah and Nathan are such an amazing couple. They have an amazing love story...they have know each other since they were very young. It was neat to hear about how God brought them together after years of know each other and Sarah having a crush on Nathan. There was a lot of laughing and giggling during this session, which I just loved! We had a great time and I cannot wait till their wedding in May. Plus, an added bonus to this session was the gorgeous fall leaves!

Favorite picture of the session. This was a really steep hill with a ton of plants. They walked down it like champs. I really love their expressions and how everything around them is faded by this.

Okay, so Nathan is always laughing and smiling! I would ask him to give me a model or serious look and he could hold it for only a second. That is the case in the picture below...lol...but honestly, that is one of the main reasons is really like this picture.
