Meet Annie, her hubby, and her two kiddos (plus one on the way!)

Meet Annie...she is my sister-in-law and a GREAT friend! We are very close and see each other on average twice a week. (We say it's for the kids to get together...really, we just want to hang out all the time! WINK!)

We met in Vlasis Park to do her maternity session for her third baby! It hadn't rained all day, but as soon as I got into the car, it started to rain! UGH! But, we decided to see if it blew over...and it did! YEAH! We were able to do the session. THE SECOND WE STOPPED SHOOTING, IT STARTED REALLY RAINING! Thank the Lord.



Favorite picture of the session...I love this picture because Joe and Annie are in their own little world and at the bottom of the picture you can see two little hands reaching up for them...precious!


Robby...he is 15 months old...and boy is he a great kid. He has a little man laugh and is a super happy toddler!


Now who is helping make Mara and Robby smile...why it is my daughter and my mom! I normally don't take my daughter along on a photoshoot, but she turned out to get a few laughs and my mom was the best babysitter!












My sweet niece, Mara! Mara is such a calm and darling girl. She is 2 1/2 years old. This is Jadyn's best friend! They call each other "Da."

I look forward to Annie's birth story in April....we don't know what she is having, but either way, I cannot wait!!!

Oh, Pig Tails!

Jadyn is almost two! I cannot believe how big she is getting. What people say is true, the time just flies by! I was looking through all her pictures the other day, just reminiscing; and realized I hadn't taken one photo last month (besides on my phone...which doesn't count!). UGH! So I immediately took out my camera and started snapping away. Here are a few pictures I took of Jadyn and her sweet cousin Mara.

She loves her pig tails....so do I!


The other day I had Jadyn and Mara at My Gym and a lady asked me if they were twins. LOL. I think they look so different...am I missing something?


And this is Jadyn's imfamous "big smile."

A nice and WARM studio session!!!

Remeber Josh and Shelly's wedding from December? Well then, you might also remember that Shelly is from Colombia and her wedding day was a VERY COLD day for everyone, but especially her. So we did a studio session of bridal portraits and romantic pictures in a nice and warm environment. But on the day of, it was 60 degrees! So I called them and begged them to come a little early so that we could go to Vlasis Park, too. The session was such a blast because Shelly and Josh are sooo contagiously in love...plus Tony and I both got to shoot this session. (I love being able to work with my hubby!!!) Declan is ONE week old!

As most of you know, I had three VERY close birth stories at the end of December and beginning of January...so we pushed baby Declan's one day session back a little bit...he had a one week session. As always, this family had me laughing and smiling a lot! This session was wonderful and included many of Brandon and April's loved ones...including Brandon's dad from Puerto Rico. Enjoy Declan's pictures...I know I sure did!

The Hessel Family!

Jon, Lisa, and I worked together at Missouri Baptist University and went to college together. Lisa became one of my closest friends (and Jon is a good friend, too, wink!). And now, we all have the awesome bond of photography. Lisa is actually the one who got me into photography! Getting the three of us...well, now four...together always is a great time. And taking pictures of their amazing family was no exception. Enjoy:

Favorite picture of Jon with Kaden. He was a natural. I never really posed him, I just asked Jon to hold Kaden like he normally would and then I was able to get a ton of great father/son pics.

And here I am giving Kaden his Superman ornament. He was supposed to come a week before Christmas, but he actually came the day after...lol. He can use it next year on the tree.

Isaac is three weeks old!

My blog is full of babies and I am loving it!!! Isaac was my first infant session out of three this week. I am getting to see sooo many cute little ones and I must say, Isaac is no exception. Luke, Beth, and Isaac and I had a great time at his session. Here are my favorites from this session:








I really like mobiles, and Isaac's fish mobile was too cute to pass up.

He was getting changed...he wasn't very happy. (But I was okay with it because I do like to get a few good crying pictures. And I love this pictures because you can see his precious gums.)
